Cabin in the Clouds

Solvay Hut name - the highest mountain on Matterhorn. It is located at an altitude of 4003 m, at the edge, just above the stove Mosley. This little hideaway where can fit 10 people. The hut is designed for emergency situations, but many climbers stay in it just to relax and enjoy the breathtaking views. On the edge of the ledge you can see the majestic peaks of Mount Rose neighborhood. Is this a house somewhere in two thirds of the way to the top, 475 meters below the summit.

 1. Cabin was built in August 1915.
